I have been working with the Southeast Como Neighborhood Association (SECIA) on their utility box art project in a volunteer capacity. I led and managed a similar project in the town of Menomonie, WI through my work with Main Street Menomonie Inc. I would like to explore the possibility of working with your organization, in potential partnership with Ka Joog on a similar project engaging recent Somali immigrant youth by showcasing Somali art on utility boxes in the Cedar Riverside Neighborhood through painting and/or graphic vinyl.
